By now, you’ve probably noticed that the Echo is the smart speaker of choice for people who want to listen to music or stream music via a connected speaker or connected speaker-to-mic (TMP) system.
Amazon Echo has also become a popular device for folks who want a smart assistant for their personal devices, whether they’re looking for a more personalized assistant for a home or business, or a simple voice assistant that works with the Echo to do things like tell you the weather.
The Echo’s smart assistant is able to make predictions about the weather, and the device can do it in a way that works well with a variety of devices.
While Amazon Echo doesn’t yet have a built-in thermostat, its smart assistant will be able to do some basic things like set the temperature and keep it at a comfortable temperature.
The Amazon Echo will also be able take photos and send them to the cloud, but it’s the ability to play music and stream music that makes it a better companion for a connected assistant.
We’ve written about how you can use an Amazon device to control your smart assistant before, but with the addition of a new smart assistant, Amazon Echo’s capabilities can now be expanded to music and streaming.
