Senna Build was first announced as the engine supplier for F1 in 2017.
In 2021, it was confirmed that Mercedes would supply the entire engine package and the development of the engine was completed by Mercedes-Benz Technical Centre (BMTC).
AMUMU Build has already delivered a number of F1 cars to Mercedes-AMU, including the 2018 F1, 2019 F1 and 2020 F1.
Both the 2018 and 2020 cars were powered by the F1 engine but were not able to enter the production line.
AMUMu Build was recently announced as an engine supplier to the Mercedes-amu project.
AMU Build will be supplying the power unit of the 2018 car, which will also be powered by a Mercedes- AMU power unit.
It is believed that the new Mercedes engine will be manufactured in the AMU factory in the Netherlands.
