By LIZ HARTSTEIN, Associated Press Apple Inc. said Monday that it plans to sell the first of its iWatch and iWatch Sport watches in a partnership with a new Chinese manufacturer.
The company also said it would be launching its first-ever digital music service with Spotify Inc. in the United States, a move that could create a massive new market for the company’s music streaming service.

Apple Inc., which has struggled to gain traction in a smartphone market where Samsung and Google have dominated for years, is the first company to launch a digital music-streaming service in the U.S. since Spotify debuted in the fall.
The announcement comes as Apple has struggled for years to attract and retain subscribers.
The Cupertino, Calif., company has sold fewer than 20 million iPhones in the past three years, while it has lost more than 50 million in the same period.
Apple shares have fallen more than 25% this year and are up more this week.
Apple is aiming to expand the digital music market to more than 20 countries and territories through partnerships with new companies, according to a company statement.
The partnership with Spotify is one of a series of partnerships the company is looking to build on to broaden its digital offering.
Apple’s acquisition of Beats Music last year and its recent $3 billion buyout of music streaming app Maven last month added to the companys digital reach.
